IFCC Standards
PT Mayawana Persad is committed to being a company that produces and supplies raw materials sustainably by paying attention to aspects of sustainable forest management in accordance with the principles and criteria of the IFCC FM ST 1001:2021 standard.
To achieve these goals, we are committed to:
- The company builds an organizational structure that reflects the responsibility to achieve the goal of effective sustainable forest management.
- The company has risk and opportunity management related to compliance with requirements for sustainable forest management.
- The company establishes an adequate management plan related to forest resource management, in accordance with the extent and utilization of forest areas based on applicable local, national and international laws and regulations that have been ratified and apply to forest management and in accordance with existing land use or other official plans.
- The company respects and does not violate the rights of indigenous and traditional communities by implementing the principle of Padiatapa (free, prior, and informed consent) or FPIC (free, prior, and informed consent).
- The company respects and does not violate human rights in forest management activities that are identified by the ILO (International Labour Organization) as “fundamental” in the principles and rights at work: freedom of association and recognition of the right to collective bargaining; elimination of all forms of forced labor; prohibition of child labor; and elimination of discrimination in employment and occupation.
- The company has an occupational safety and health management system to identify and take action on health risks and work accidents, and to inform workers about this to protect and prevent workers from work risks.
- The company has adequate resources and an effective management system as well as competent human resources for all sustainable forest management activities.
- The parties establish effective and sustainable communication and consultation with indigenous peoples and/or local communities and other parties affected by forest management activities and their impacts.
- Companies in forest management activities maintain or enhance forest resources through the application of appropriate silvicultural measures and appropriate techniques, the application of positive climate practices, not converting forests, not afforesting ecologically important non-forest ecosystems and the efficient use of resources to contribute to the global carbon cycle.
- The company maintains and improves the health and vitality of forest ecosystems and rehabilitates degraded forest ecosystems.
- The company uses environmentally friendly operational practices and appropriate silvicultural alternatives in a controlled manner to minimize environmental and ecosystem impacts.
- The company has and implements forest product tracking and tracing procedures to ensure that forest products harvested and transported within its forest areas originate from certified and legally proven forest areas.
- The company carries out maintenance, protection, conservation or enhancement of biodiversity at the landscape, ecosystem, species and genetic levels in accordance with the forest management plan.
- The company does not use trees from genetic engineering or GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms).
- The company maintains or improves the protective function of forests for the community, such as the potential role of forests in erosion control, flood prevention, water purification, climate regulation, carbon absorption, as well as regulatory services or other supporting services from ecosystems that are appropriate for forest management.
- The company carries out regular monitoring, measurement, analysis and evaluation of forest resources and their management including ecological, social and economic impacts.
- The Company conducts periodic internal audit programs in accordance with standard requirements, the implementation of which is effectively maintained.
- The company carries out a management review program that includes decisions related to opportunities for continuous improvement and changes required in the management system.
- The company continuously carries out continuous improvements to the suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the Sustainable Forest Management System and its implementation.
PT Mayawana Persada is responsible for ensuring that this IFCC compliance policy is implemented and its effectiveness is periodically reviewed. Management, employees, partners, contractors, and related parties are responsible for ensuring that the IFCC compliance policy is available as documented information, communicated, and understood by stakeholders.
POLICY ON COMPLIANCE WITH IFCC STANDARD REQUIREMENTS
PT Mayawana Persada is committed to being a company that sustainably produces and supplies raw materials while taking into account sustainable forest management aspects in accordance with the principles and criteria of the IFCC FM ST 1001:2021 standard requirements.
To achieve this objective, we are committed to:
- The Company establishes an organizational structure that reflects responsibility for achieving effective sustainable forest management objectives.
- The Company has risk and opportunity management related to compliance with the requirements for sustainable forest management.
- The Company establishes an adequate management plan related to forest resource management, in accordance with the size and utilization of the forest area based on applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations that have been ratified and are applicable to forest management, as well as in accordance with existing land-use plans or other official plans.
- The Company respects and does not violate the rights of indigenous and traditional communities by applying the principle of Padiatapa (prior informed consent without coercion) or FPIC (free, prior, and informed consent).
- The Company respects and does not violate human rights in forest management activities identified by the ILO (International Labour Organization) as “fundamental” principles and rights at work: freedom of association and recognition of the right to collective bargaining; elimination of all forms of forced labour; prohibition of child labour; and elimination of discrimination in employment and occupation.
- The Company has an occupational safety and health management system to identify and take action on health risks and occupational accidents, as well as to communicate such matters to workers in order to protect and prevent workers from risks arising from their work.
- The Company has adequate resources and an effective management system, as well as competent human resources for all sustainable forest management activities.
- The parties establish effective and continuous communication and consultation with indigenous communities and/or local communities as well as other affected parties in relation to forest management activities and their impacts.
- In its forest management activities, the Company maintains or enhances forest resources through the application of appropriate silvicultural measures and suitable techniques, the implementation of positive climate practices, refraining from forest conversion, refraining from afforestation of ecologically important non-forest ecosystems, and the efficient use of resources to contribute to the global carbon cycle.
- The Company maintains and enhances the health and vitality of forest ecosystems and rehabilitates degraded forest ecosystems.
- The Company applies environmentally friendly operational practices and appropriate controlled silvicultural alternatives to minimize impacts on the environment and ecosystems.
- The Company has and implements procedures for tracking and tracing forest products to ensure that forest products harvested and transported within its forest area originate from certified forest areas and are demonstrably legal.
- The Company carries out the maintenance, protection, conservation, or enhancement of biological diversity at the landscape, ecosystem, species, and genetic levels in accordance with the forest management plan.

POLICY ON THE NON-USE OF GMO TECHNOLOGY (GENETICALLY MODIFIED ORGANISM)
PT Mayawana Persada, as a company operating in the Industrial Plantation Forest sector, is committed to implementing sustainable and responsible practices in the management of natural resources. One important aspect of maintaining this sustainability is ensuring that our operational activities do not involve the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), whether in the form of plants, seeds, or other technologies.
1. Use of Seedlings
The Company will ensure that all seedlings used in planting activities come from assured sources and are not genetically modified. The seedlings used must meet biodiversity standards and must not damage local ecosystems.
2. Plant Management
All plant management activities, including fertilization and pest control, will be carried out using environmentally friendly methods and will not involve GMO technology.
3. Monitoring and Evaluation
The Company will periodically conduct monitoring and evaluation to ensure that this policy is properly implemented across all aspects of operations. Any use of new technology or seedlings that potentially contain GMO elements will undergo a rigorous review and evaluation process.
4. Education and Training
All employees, partners, and related parties will be provided with an understanding of and training on this policy and the importance of not using GMO technology in the Company’s operations.
5. Compliance with Regulations
The Company is committed to complying with all applicable regulations and laws concerning the use of GMOs in Indonesia and internationally.

POLICY PROHIBITING NARCOTICS, PSYCHOTROPIC SUBSTANCES, ADDICTIVE SUBSTANCES AND ALCOHOL
To support the quality, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), and environmental protection policies at PT Mayawana Persada, the Company establishes this policy to achieve optimal performance in timber quality management, prevent occupational accidents and diseases, as well as environmental pollution. This policy also aims to protect the Company's assets and comply with the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Number Per.11/Men/VI/2005 of 2005 concerning the Prevention and Control of the Abuse of Narcotics, Psychotropic Substances, and Addictive Substances (NAPZA) in the Workplace, as well as Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, as follows:
- Establish a team responsible for programs to prevent and control the abuse and distribution of narcotics, psychotropic substances, and addictive substances (NAPZA) in the workplace, integrated with the Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Committee (P2K3).
- Conduct awareness programs to increase employees' awareness of the dangers of NAPZA.
- Develop and implement Work Programs and conduct periodic evaluations.
- Conduct drug tests on employees involved in accidents and suspected of using NAPZA and/or alcohol.
- Employees who are undergoing treatment with medication that may affect consciousness or cause drowsiness are prohibited from driving vehicles or operating machinery.
- Impose sanctions in accordance with Company regulations on employees proven to have used NAPZA or alcohol.
The Management of PT Mayawana Persada believes that optimal employee health can support the achievement of operational and Occupational Health and Safety targets; therefore, every employee is required to support this policy.

ANTI-CORRUPTION, NEPOTISM AND COLLUSION
PT Mayawana Persada is committed to creating a transparent, fair working environment that is free from all forms of corruption, collusion, and nepotism. This policy aims to ensure that all of the Company's operational activities are carried out with a high level of integrity and in accordance with applicable laws, both nationally and internationally. This policy applies to all employees, management, and third parties that have relationships with the Company, including vendors, business partners, and contractors.
PT Mayawana Persada implements its Anti-Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism Policy based on the principles of Integrity, Transparency and Fairness. Therefore, PT Mayawana Persada rejects and strictly prohibits practices of Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism, in accordance with Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption (as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001) and Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 54 of 2018 concerning the National Strategy for Corruption Prevention (Stranas PK).
All levels of Management, Employees, Partners, and Third Parties are collectively required and responsible for rejecting and prohibiting, as well as refraining from engaging in practices of Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism. Any violation of this policy must be reported through the channels provided by the Company, such as email or an internal reporting application. All reports will be followed up through a fair and impartial investigation. Any identified violation will be subject to sanctions in accordance with the applicable disciplinary policy, ranging from warnings to termination of employment and reporting to the relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law.
With this policy in place, it is expected that the Company will be able to conduct its activities with full responsibility and integrity, as well as create a transparent working environment that is free from all forms of KKN.

ORANGUTAN PROTECTION POLICY
PT Mayawana Persada is committed to protecting protected wildlife, particularly key species such as the orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus), which is an endemic and protected animal in Indonesia. This protection forms part of the Company's responsibility to support the conservation of biodiversity and the ecological functions of forest areas.
PT Mayawana Persada prohibits all forms of hunting, capture, abuse, habitat destruction, and other activities that may threaten orangutan populations within and around the concession area. Any individual who becomes aware of any disturbance affecting the presence of orangutans is required to immediately report it to the relevant authorities and the Company's environmental unit.
This policy applies to all employees, business partners, contractors, and other third parties carrying out activities within the PT Mayawana Persada concession area. Awareness programs and training on the identification and management of human-orangutan conflict are conducted periodically.
This policy is established based on the following laws and regulations:
Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 1990 concerning Conservation of Living Natural Resources and Their Ecosystems.
Government Regulation Number 7 of 1999 concerning the Preservation of Plant and Animal Species.
Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.106/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/12/2018 concerning Protected Plant and Animal Species.
Through this policy, PT Mayawana Persada supports orangutan conservation as part of its commitment to the principles of sustainable development and the protection of High Conservation Values (HCV) within the Company's concession area.

POLICY ON THE PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF PESTICIDE USE
PT Mayawana Persada, as a company operating in the Industrial Plantation Forest sector, is committed to maintaining environmental sustainability, complying with government regulations, and supporting efforts to reduce negative impacts on ecosystems. As part of these efforts, PT Mayawana Persada implements a policy prohibiting the use of hazardous pesticides that are banned by the Government of Indonesia and international conventions.
This policy is intended to ensure that the use of pesticides within PT Mayawana Persada's operational areas complies with applicable regulations and international environmental standards. Furthermore, it aims to reduce or eliminate the use of pesticides included in the list of chemicals prohibited or restricted under Indonesian government regulations and the Stockholm Convention, thereby increasing the awareness and compliance of all parties involved in industrial plantation forest management with this policy.
1. Compliance with Regulations
PT Mayawana Persada will always comply with applicable regulations in Indonesia concerning pesticide use, including but not limited to:
- Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 7 of 2014 concerning Pesticide Control.
- Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture Number 28/Permentan/OT.140/4/2018. concerning the Safe and Effective Use of Pesticides.
- Government Regulation No. 18 of 2015 concerning Pesticide Registration.
- Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry P.48/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/7/2017 concerning the Control and Management of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), which prohibits and restricts the use of pesticides classified as persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in order to prevent long-term environmental pollution and damage.
2. Compliance with the Stockholm Convention
We are committed to not using pesticides included in the list of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) regulated under the Stockholm Convention. Pesticides included in this category, which may damage ecosystems and affect human health, are strictly prohibited from use in our operational activities. The list of pesticides included in these POPs will always be updated in accordance with guidelines issued by the government and international bodies.
3. Restrictions on Pesticide Use
The use of unregistered or prohibited pesticides will be restricted and, where possible, replaced with more environmentally friendly pest-control methods. The use of pesticides that remain permitted will be strictly monitored to ensure that there are no adverse effects on the environment or health.
This policy forms part of our efforts to conduct operational activities responsibly toward the environment and society. By adopting this policy, we hope to support sustainability and maintain a better quality of the environment for future generations.

- Optimize the recruitment process for competent and qualified workers in accordance with the Company's needs from local communities recognized in accordance with employment relations and stipulated by law.
- Ensure the safety and security of workers while performing their work.
- No tolerance shall be given to practices or acts of Forced Labour or Bonded Labour.
- Provide freedom of association, protection of the right to organize, and collective bargaining in order to create harmonious industrial relations.
- Provide workers with the right to wages, meaning that every worker has the right to be paid as regulated under laws concerning employment and remuneration, as well as overtime provisions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- No tolerance shall be given to discrimination in employment, occupation, or in any form between male and female workers, who are guaranteed fairness and equality. This means that there shall be no discrimination in employment and occupation based on skin color, sex, ethnicity, religion, gender, and disability, whether in attitudes and treatment or in opportunities within the organization.
- No tolerance shall be given to Child Labour or workers under 18 years of age.
- No tolerance shall be given to harassment in any form or abuse of authority.
- Provide facilities, equipment, materials, and transportation for workers to perform their work safely, efficiently, and productively.
- Provide clean, pleasant, safe, comfortable, and hygienic accommodation.

POLICY PROHIBITING THE USE OF FIRE IN SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT
PT Mayawana Persada is committed to implementing sustainable and environmentally friendly forest management. In support of sustainability principles and the protection of forest ecosystems, our Company has established a policy prohibiting the use of fire in all forms of forest management activities, whether for land clearing, forest maintenance, or other activities. This policy forms part of our efforts to preserve the environment and comply with the mandates of applicable laws and regulations.
PT Mayawana Persada establishes this policy with the objective of preventing forest fires that can damage ecosystems and threaten biodiversity, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions resulting from open burning and land-clearing activities involving fire. Furthermore, through this policy, PT Mayawana Persada also ensures that forest management is carried out in accordance with sustainability principles and applicable regulations, namely:
- Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 41 of 1999 concerning Forestry
- Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management
- Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 4 of 2001 concerning Production Forest Management
- Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.32/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.I/5/2016 concerning Procedures for Forest and Land Fire Control
- Regulation of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.14/MENHUT-II/2014 concerning Guidelines for Industrial Plantation Forest Management
As part of PT Mayawana Persada's commitment to preserving forest ecosystems, we strictly prohibit the use of fire in all forest management activities, including but not limited to:
- Clearing new land or expanding areas.
- Land clearing and maintenance.
- Controlling vegetation or pests using fire.
- Other activities involve burning as a management method.
PT Mayawana Persada has effective fire management procedures to address potential fires that may occur due to external factors or negligence. These procedures include:
- Forest fire and firefighting training for all personnel involved.
- Establishment of a fire emergency response team.
- Provision of adequate firefighting equipment in fire-prone locations.
PT Mayawana Persada will periodically monitor the implementation of this policy to ensure that no activities involving the use of fire are carried out in forest management. Any violation of this policy will be dealt with in accordance with Company regulations and applicable laws and regulations.

PROTECTION AND MAINTENANCE OF PROTECTED AREAS
PT Mayawana Persada is committed to protecting and maintaining protected areas located within or directly bordering the Company's concession area. The Company upholds the principles of sustainability in natural resource management by ensuring that protected areas continue to perform their ecological functions, such as biodiversity protection, water regulation, and microclimate balance.
This policy applies to all levels of management, employees, as well as third parties working within the Company's environment, including business partners, contractors, and subcontractors. Any activities conducted around protected areas must comply with technical conservation guidelines and refrain from actions that may damage or disrupt their functions.
This policy has been established in accordance with applicable legal provisions, including:
- Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 41 of 1999 concerning Forestry.
- Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10 of 2022 concerning Forest Administration and the Preparation of Forest Management Plans as well as Forest Utilization in Protection Forests and Production Forests.
Any violation of this policy will be subject to sanctions based on Company regulations and applicable laws and regulations. The Company provides reporting channels to receive complaints or reports regarding potential violations related to the protection of protected areas.
Through the implementation of this policy, PT Mayawana Persada hopes to contribute to the preservation of the ecological functions of protected areas and environmental sustainability in general.

POLICY ON DOCUMENT CONTROL AND AVAILABILITY OF OPERATIONAL ACTIVITY RECORDS
1. Introduction
PT Mayawana Persada ensures the implementation of systematic and measurable forest management practices. Document control in the form of records of operational activities maintained for a minimum of 5 years constitutes PT Mayawana Persada's effort to demonstrate that the implementation of PT Mayawana Persada's forest management practices is systematic and measurable. To achieve this, PT Mayawana Persada is committed.
2. Policy Objectives
The objectives of this policy are to:
- Ensure effective control over documents and records generated in the Company's operational activities.
- Ensure that documents and records are available as needed for audit, supervision, and reference purposes for the specified period, namely 5 years.
- Ensure that documents that are no longer required can be destroyed securely and in accordance with applicable procedures.
3. Definitions
- Document: All forms of written records, electronic records, or other media that store information required by the Company for operational and administrative activities, including procedures, policies, work instructions, and reports.
- Record: Evidence of activities related to operations that records activities that have been carried out, for example audit reports, monitoring data, inspection reports, and regulatory compliance reports.
4. Document Control
- All documents relevant to the Company's operational activities must be controlled through procedures that ensure their accuracy, reliability, and validity. The documents referred to include procedural documents, policies, reports, instructions, and other documents required for the Company's operational activities.
- Every document issued must have an identification number, the latest revision, and the date of issuance. The document revision process must be carried out with valid approval from the authorized party within the Company.
- Documents must be available to parties who require them in accordance with predetermined access rights. Access to documents must be restricted based on need and authority in order to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
5. Availability of Operational Activity Records
- Operational activity records must be properly maintained and made available for audits or other purposes for a minimum period of 5 years, in accordance with applicable regulatory provisions. These records may include examination records, inspection reports, internal audit results, and relevant operational data.

Policy:
- Committed to establishing, maintaining, and implementing an Environment, Occupational Safety and Health Policy in accordance with the nature, scale/size and environmental impacts, as well as the scale of hazard risks arising from activities conducted at PT Mayawana Persada.
- Proactively carry out continuous improvements to the Environment, Occupational Safety and Health Management System (LK3) and actively prevent environmental pollution, accidents, and occupational diseases at PT Mayawana Persada.
- Committed to fulfilling applicable legal obligations, customer requirements, the requirements of other interested parties (stakeholders), and other relevant requirements related to Environment, Occupational Safety and Health (LK3).
- Establish a framework of measurable and comprehensive objectives, targets, and programs, and evaluate the Environment and Occupational Safety and Health (LK3) objectives and targets.
- Establish a policy of land clearing without burning and play an active role in the prevention and control of forest and land fires.
- Establish mechanisms relating to all activities of the Environment, Occupational Safety and Health (LK3) management system to ensure they are documented, implemented, maintained, and made available to all relevant parties.
- PT Mayawana Persada communicates the Environment, Occupational Safety and Health (LK3) management system to all employees, contractor business partners, surrounding communities, and other interested parties.
- Conduct periodic reviews of the Environment, Occupational Safety and Health Policy to ensure that the LK3 policy remains relevant and appropriate to the activities of PT Mayawana Persada.

CARBON EMISSION MINIMIZATION
PT Mayawana Persada is committed to minimizing carbon emissions generated from its operational activities through the implementation of energy efficiency principles, conservation of natural resources, and the utilization of renewable energy. The Company supports climate change mitigation efforts as part of its corporate responsibility toward the global environment.
The measures taken include: periodic monitoring and reporting of emissions, improving the efficiency of equipment and vehicles, as well as forest rehabilitation activities to increase natural carbon stocks.
This policy is based on the following provisions:
- Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 98 of 2021 concerning Carbon Economic Value.
- Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 2023 concerning Procedures for the Implementation of Carbon Economic Value in the Forestry Sector.
PT Mayawana Persada encourages the participation of all internal parties in efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and supports the national emission reduction targets in accordance with Indonesia's NDC.

HAZARDOUS AND TOXIC WASTE MANAGEMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION PREVENTION
PT Mayawana Persada carries out the management of Hazardous and Toxic Waste (LB3) professionally and responsibly in order to prevent soil and water pollution. This management includes sorting, storage, and transportation processes in accordance with applicable regulations. PT Mayawana Persada also cooperates with Third Parties that hold the required permits for the relevant processing stages, through to the utilization or disposal of LB3.
All LB3 management activities are carried out with due consideration to occupational safety, health protection, and the prevention of environmental risks. The Company also provides periodic training to personnel involved in waste management and emergency response procedures.
This policy refers to:
- Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management.
- Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2021 concerning Procedures and Requirements for Hazardous and Toxic Waste (B3 Waste) Management.
Any violation or negligence in the management of LB3 will be subject to administrative or legal sanctions in accordance with applicable provisions.
Through this policy, PT Mayawana Persada ensures that its business activities do not have negative impacts on the environment and remain aligned with the principles of sustainable development.
