PT Mayawana Persada Delivers Community Relief to Safeguard Health and Wildfire Preparedness

Wildfire preparedness and safeguarding public health at the grassroots level begin with shared care and collaborative action. Throughout September, PT Mayawana Persada actively engaged with local communities across multiple villages in the Ketapang and Kayong Utara Regencies to distribute firefighting equipment, health supplies, and free medical care.

In Sekucing Kualan Village, the company delivered firefighting gear, bottled water, milk, vitamins, and protective face masks to residents affected by air pollution. Fransiskus Titus, speaking as the neighborhood unit head (RT 05), expressed his appreciation:

"Today, PT Mayawana Persada has provided bottled water, Bear Brand milk, canned milk, clean water supplies from previous visits, and complimentary medical check-ups... Similar relief supplies were dispatched to Kualan Hilir Village and Meraban Preparation Village to reinforce operational readiness for wildfire mitigation. Abel, the Village Secretary of Kualan Hilir, shared:

"We have received essential firefighting equipment, including a Robin pump, hoses, nozzles, face masks, vitamins, and Bear Brand milk... These tools arrived precisely when our community needed them the most."

Health support was equally vital for residents in Sungai Sepeti Village (Kayong Utara) and Durian Sebatang Village, where the company distributed protective masks, vitamins, and nourishing milk. Toni Hariyanto, Head of Sungai Sepeti Village, noted:

"On behalf of the Sungai Sepeti village government, we extend our sincere gratitude to PT Mayawana Persada for delivering logistical supplies such as Bear Brand milk, masks, and vitamins... Haze has been a daily reality for us for nearly a month now. We sincerely hope that these positive initiatives and ongoing support will continue well into the future."
